Certificate from the Comité Auguste Rodin, issued under no. 2013-4275B and dated January 19, 2026.

The small version of Eve was hugely successful during Rodin’s lifetime, and although it is not yet possible to determine the number of casts made of this model, the experts estimate that at least 40 copies with a square base and flat feet were cast by the were cast by the François Rudier foundries from 1886 onwards, Griffoul & Lorge, Léon Perzinka, Alexis Rudier, and then Georges Rudier at the request of Rodin and then the Rodin Museum until 1967.

We also know from the production records of the Alexis Rudier foundry that Thibert, the engraver, and Alliot, the assembler, worked 40 hours on the engraving and 8 hours on the assembly, respectively. The patina was executed by master foundryman Pourrez.
